New online sales policy effective Oct. 1, 2012
We have some news to share that may affect you. We’re clarifying our stance concerning online sales: starting this October consumers must pick up their Civia complete bike in person at a bike shop. It may seem like a small thing, and we certainly recognize and appreciate the convenience of ordering things from the internet and having them shipped to you. So why are we adopting this policy?
Simply put, consumers of bicycles are best served by a face-to-face relationship. When the customer picks up their new Civia from a shop, their bike is properly assembled, adjusted and fitted. They have someone to go to when it needs a tune up or if they have a problem. A personal relationship ensures consumers are best informed and get the best service possible.
This policy only affects Civia complete bikes, not parts and accessories.
