I've logged almost 25 years in the bike industry, currently doing the purchasing and demand planning for Civia. Even with all that experience, if we're out of stock on a part, it's probably all my fault.

I was born in a lightning storm in rural Minnesota, bass guitar in hand. Growing up and out of the farm country, I finally made my home in the Twin Cities, thumping the bass and singing in the nook-and-cranny blues bars of Minneapolis.

I'm a pavement man. I've never been into the mountain riding or racing scene-bikes have always been a transportation tool for me. On weekdays when I'm not plucking bass strings I can be found on my bike, commuting the 15 miles from my house to Civia headquarters, or heading up north for a weekend tour. I'm also an unofficial spokesperson for Headsweats, one of the most essential cycling garments I've seen in the last 20 years.
