The North Loop is a swift and stylish ebike that makes it easier to ride farther, longer, and more often. Whether you’re heading across town or going on a ride with friends, the lightweight aluminum frame glides smoothly over city streets and bike paths. As with the entire Civia line, comfort is key and North Loop’s sporty riding position accommodates most adults through the wide size range. Thanks to the Bosch Active Line Plus drive unit and reliable build spec, this ebike makes hills, cross-town commutes, and fitness rides a fun, no-sweat affair.
North Loop eBike
Swift and Smooth
The North Loop is designed for a lively ride, with handling intended for fitness and casual commutes.
- Less Weight: Even though it’s electric, you’ll still appreciate the feeling of a light ride
- Pedal Fast or Slow: With the right gearing range, a workout or leisurely commute are possible
- Easy on / off: A lighter bike with a detachable battery means the North Loop can easily be placed on a rear car rack
- Plenty of gearing: a 10-speed drivetrain offers a great range for optimal gearing
Bosch Active Line Plus
The swift and sporty Active Line Plus motor amplifies the ride experience
- A clean and uncluttered look with a lighter and quieter smaller drive unit
- Swift and sporty acceleration with minimum pedal resistance and four levels of support from Eco to Turbo
- Active Line Plus offers 250 watts of power, 50Nm max torque and up to 270% max drive assist
- Compact, clear, and neatly organized controls on the Purion controller
- Efficient and long-lasting PowerPack 400 frame battery
- Small and compact 2 Amp charger with options to fit the rider’s needs
Classic and Stylish Design
We intentionally made the North Loop a bicycle first, and an electric bike second.
- Clean and Simple: the handlebar is absent of the clutter typically associated with ebikes
- Pedestrian Utility: Simple touches such as Schrader valve tubes for gas station fill-ups won’t leave the rider stranded without a valve adapter
- Stand up Proud: ebikes weigh more than a traditional bicycle, so the kickstand is built strong, but without that over-built industrial look
